The hesitation may be as basic as the idea of “#Black Love,”and modeling our families after what we’ve seen in previous generations; it may be the desire to be with someone who relates to a shared ancestry and who can discuss Driving While Black because he “gets it.” And there are many Black men who feel the same way.
